The story follows a young boy from the Midwest who becomes a soldier and a German boy whose path leads him to serve in the military, intertwining their destinies through themes of friendship, family, and duty to their countries—elements that ultimately shatter and transform their lives both individually and collectively. Driven by a passion to share this family narrative, he felt compelled to bring their story to the world. When he isn’t writing, T. Joseph enjoys golfing, traveling, and discovering new culinary experiences, both in cooking and dining. He currently resides in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, while also spending time and taking his sailboat out into the beautiful Pacific Ocean or living on it as its moored in Channel Islands Marina, Oxnard, California.
